Equipment options

Trailer selection starts with the freight’s dimensions, weight and loading requirements. Hydra arranges equipment through independent carriers.

Flatbed — An open, level deck for freight loaded from the side or above, including steel, pipe and building materials.

Step Deck — A lower main deck creates additional height clearance for taller freight.

Conestoga — A retractable tarp system protects freight from the weather while allowing side and overhead access during loading.

RGN — A removable gooseneck allows suitable self-propelled machinery to load from the front onto a low deck.

Lowboy — A low-deck trailer used for tall machinery and heavy equipment. Axle configuration and loading access depend on the trailer.

Double Drop — A recessed center well between raised front and rear decks accommodates tall components within the usable well length.

Stretch / Extendable Trailers — An extendable deck supports long freight such as structural members, pipe and fabricated components.

Specialized Configurations — Multi-axle and other trailer arrangements for freight requiring additional weight distribution or a specific deck configuration.
